The Social Work-Study Program held the "2019/2020 Even Semester Public Lecture" with the speaker Dr. Oetami dewi (Head of B2P3KS of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Yogyakarta Branch), with the theme "Social Problems and the Role of B2P3KS in Improving Social Welfare in Yogyakarta Special Region". The public lecture at this time aims: First to develop students' insights and interest in social problems and their role in improving social welfare in DIY. Second, to increase student attitudes and concern for social problems and provide prevention and handling. The hope of this activity is to provide students with an understanding of social problems and the role of B2P3KS in improving social welfare in Yogyakarta, besides that it can also increase student understanding in course of Introduction for Social Work and Intervention with Communities. This activity was attended by students of the Social Work-Study Program class 2019, 2018, and 2017, besides that there were also students from the IIS Postgraduate Study Program at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakartaand Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) students.
