The latest publication, an anthology of writings by faculty members of the Social Welfare Studies Program (Prodi IKS), was officially launched on Monday, December 16, 2024, at Merapi Merbabu Hotel. The event, titled "Arah Baru Kesejahteraan Sosial: Dari Inovasi Hingga Isu Kontemporer" (New Directions in Social Welfare: From Innovation to Contemporary Issues), marked another milestone for Prodi IKS.

The event was attended by 15 invited guests, representing key stakeholders and partner institutions such as correctional facilities (LAPAS), child welfare institutions (LKSA), social services (Dinas Sosial), drug rehabilitation centers (IPWL), and others. Speakers at the event included Dr. Ro’fah and Dr. Lathiful Khuluk, representing the contributing authors, while Miftachul Huda from Samudra Biru Publishing provided a critique and discussion on the book.

In his opening remarks, the Dean of Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, Prof Arif Maftuhin,expressed hope for future collaborations in co-authoring publications between the Social Welfate Studies Program and partner institutions.
